Deb joins Poet Laureate Julia Bouwsma at the Center for Arts & Ecology’s first Woven from Land & Lineage creative writing series at the Desert of Maine’s farmhouse.

Deb will begin the workshop with a 30 - 45 minute guided nature walk through the Desert of Maine’s unique landscape.

Participants will draw inspiration from the Desert’s history and ecology, and various poets such as Craig Santos Perez, Erika Meitner, Franny Choi, Jake Skeets, and Danez Smith.

The workshop will encourage participants to consider and experiment with various approaches to writing the natural world and, our relationship to it, in an increasingly uncertain future.
