CREATING AND CONNECTING WILDLIFE HABITAT IN A CHANGING LANDSCAPE - Sense of Place (NH)

  • Tuckerman Brewing Company 66 Hobbs Street Conway, NH, 03818 United States (map)

Increasing development is degrading and disconnecting the landscape and habitat around us. Hear from a panel of biologists about wildlife, what is causing the reduction in habitat, what can be done to enhance and diversify the landscape, and share resources and opportunities to create habitat at any scale.

Panelists:  Deb Perkins, First Light Wildlife Habitats; Dave King, Northern Research Station; Debra Marnich, Chocorua Lake Conservancy; Jessie Dubuque, White Mountain National Forest; Nels Liljedahl, Natural Resource Conservation Service.

This panel is hosted by Sense of Place, a collective of partners whose mission is to connect the public to their natural resources through place based community forums and outdoor field experiences.
